Ok late I know. I just want you to know that I thought about you on your birthday and for the past week. I love you Jane. I am so grateful that we were in HAW together and our Senior year became such close friends. I will never forget our sleepovers, our little outtings, all our Haw projects and sitting in your car and chatting during lunch.

So when we were together alllll the time we wern't really the picture taking kind of people. So this is the only one I could find. In my opinion this one says it all. Thank you so much for putting up with my stressed out dramatic self all through senior year and thanks for being a friend that is always there all the time. Thank you for being funny, witty and bright. Thank you for your sweet personality and for having so much enthusiasm and excitement for life. Thanks for adding adventure and fun into every little detail. Thank you for making the boring times fun and the slow days fast. I love you Jane and I appreciate your friendship so much. I will always consider you one of my best friends and I want you to know that I look up to you in so many ways. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Mall Bell. I'm so sorry this took foreverrrr, but I did not forget you or your birthday!!

Your personality, laugh, and smile is infectious. Anyone you're around absolutely loves you. I mean how could you not? I don't think there ever has been a time that I haven't been constantly laughing when I'm with you. I honestly think one of my favorite things, is you in the HAM/HAW video for Valentines day when you twirled out the door and said, "Bye Mom!" It gets me every time. I've always been so grateful to have you in my life. Love you cute girl! Once again, I'm sorry this is so late!

A (late) Tribute to Two of the Best Girls I Know

So, there are some things that make me not a very good friends sometimes....mainly the fact that I am really bad at remembering people's birthdays. Mal, Happy Late birthday!! I hope you had an amazing day!
This is going to be a double post for Mal and Audge since I didn't post anything for either of their birthdays when they actually happened.

You are seriously one of the funniest and most kind people I know. I love that every time I see you, no matter how long it has been since the last time we talked, you have stories to tell and make me laugh and feel like we haven't been apart forever! You are a great listener and always have great advice for every situation. I remember meeting you in at Hillside and we were semi more that acquaintances and we hung out a couple of times and I thought you were so cool but it wasn't until about Junior year that we actually became friends that talked and I have to say I am so glad we did! Haha, even when I stupidly backed into your car you were so super nice about it!
I love you Mal and I hope this year will be even better and more full of adventures than recent years.

Oh man girl, there is so much to say about our time together! I remember meeting you in 6th grade and for a while we sat at the same table and I just remember we talked endlessly about books. You were/are a girl after my own heart when it comes to reading! You have always been the girl with her head on straight. You are resilient and I admire how much confidence you have in everything you do. It is weird to think how many years we have been friends because it seems almost like yesterday that we were doing cheer and such together, but I am so glad I have known you for as long as I have and I am so glad that I can call you one of my lifelong friends. I am so happy for you and CJ and I can bet this year is going to be one of the greatest, happiest, most memorable years of your life so absorb every minute of it and please keep reporting it all in your blog because I love hearing about it.
You are a beautiful person inside and out Audrey and I am so glad to call you my friend.

Summation: We're really pretty

So... confession time. When we were in middle school and the beginning of high school, I'd see you in the halls. I thought you were really mysterious and pretty and social. Whenever we'd cross paths, you'd always have a funny story to tell someone and I really really wanted you to be my friend but I was super shy. Basically I spent a few years wanting to be your friend and dress like you. Then, senior year we got to spend so much time together and it was like a dream come true. 

Ever since then, I've always known I have a friend in you. You're always there for everyone. I think being a dependable friend is often an overlooked quality but you have it in spades. I've always admired how hard you work for the things you love and how you still manage to be such a good friend. Honestly, whenever I think I'm taking on too much, I think about you and your work ethic and say "Suck it up. Mallory does ten times more." You're so independent and strong and I am so proud to be able to call you my friend. I love you and I hope you had a great birthday and I hope no one made you eat a bunch of asian candy and forced you to drive up a canyon.

It is finally your turn to be the Birthday girl! And since you are the one that started this wonderful tradition your birthday posts should probably be the best yet! I cannot say enough good things about you. In high school if I ever needed a laugh I definitely came to you! I am super glad I joined the journalism team senior year so I could be apart of your guy's little group of wandering the halls and ditching class haha!

Since high school I have been impressed with the things you have done especially New York. Way to stick that one out girl! I was so proud! I am so happy I was able to spend a little bit of your big day with you! 21 years...should we hit the clubs this weekend?

Where do I even begin.

If only I knew how to post videos to this, I would, and I would serenade you for your special day.  But just go back and watch the one I made a few years ago and we can pretend that was today.

ANYWAY, I just love ya Mal.  You are such a wonderful, fun, happy, beautiful, stylish, trustworthy, kind, thoughtful, friendly, love-to-be-with-you, can-never-stop-laughing-with friend.  Thank you for all of the great times that we've had and for always being there for me.  Some of my favorite memories include:

• When we had that week summer after freshman year where it was just us and we went to a movie and walked to SnoShack (I don't know what we were thinking) and all that jazz.
• All of our sleepovers.
• Spontaneous dance(s)/your parking ticket from Ned.
• Banbury runs when Winn thought we were taking pictures.
• Our identical schedules senior year.
• The almost hold-up/shooting we saw at 7-11.
• Frazil runs.
• That one drug deal we saw in the Highland parking lot.
• Just talking.
• And--of course--today.  

weird.  our hair has swapped now.

Love you wild stallion.  Can't wait for this next semester together in Provo.

I'm Going To Be A Mother!

A den mother that is. I got this new calling last Sunday and at first I wanted to laugh because who in their right mind would trust me with anything that has to do with scouts? Then I wanted to cry. I don't know the first thing about scouting... granted it is just cub scouts. But still. So now I'm going to have to learn how to do everything I suck at (i.e. boy scouting things, i.e. camping/hiking/being outdoorsy). So Anna, can ya help a girl out??

Does this happen to anyone else... when you comment on any blog and it makes you do the word verification every single time? Am I the only one this happens to, and am I the only one who gets completely annoyed by it? And its never an actual word and it always is like swervy.

Is it

A: to make sure I am not drunk and writing comments that I will later regert?

B: a test because only smart people are aloud to comment?

C: Are they are trying to make it fun by giving me a brain teaser?

So am I the only one that doesnt know what this is for and have just been doing it all this time wondering what the heck was going on? I might be making myself sound stupid but oh well.

Alright I know that I am more than a week late for this but I thought it was better late than never. In my family we do this thing, whenever it is someones birthday we all say what we love about the birthday person. So I thought we could do something like that on our fun blog. I will start it and who ever wants to join can comment on what they love about our dear friend Anna.

Anna, I love that you are always so optomistic and happy about life. I love that you work so hard and you are so driven in so many different aspects. I love that you are such a wonderful friend and you are always caring about other people. I love you Anna and I am so gratefulwe are friends!

HELP

I need some opinions from the people who matter most. I NEED a change with my hair, its just been the same long mess for a long time. I'm thinking maybe a color is in the future? or a great cut. I am almost thinking going blonde-ish. I'm kind of desperate... any opinions?

Option A: No color and just cut?
